1996:
Company foundation in a university environment.

1999:
Encapsulation of individual specific software systems, further developments: picture-based 360 degree and geometry 3D solutions for web deployment.

2001:
Foundation of ScanBull GmbH as a development and marketing company in Hamelin and Burgthan.

2002:
ScanBull achieves market leadership for 3D scanning systems.

2004:
Foundation of ScanBull VI AG.

2007:
Foundation of ScanBull Vertical Engineering AG.

2008 Bochum:
ScanBull expands and the production facility in the Ruhr area is set up. Production capacity is increased.

2009/2010 Hattingen:
ScanBull expands and buys the Hattingen production facility; production capacity is increased to 12,500 3D scanners per week.

2010 January:
Development of the largest scanning studio in the world (ScanFactory) at the Hattingen site.
